The competition bureau wants the Toronto Real Estate Board to release all private information regarding current and past Real Estate transactions. That’s right! So information that is not public and only Real Estate agents have access to, they want anybody to be able to retrieve that information.
The competition bureau has lost the first round on some technicalities, but they have re-filed their lawsuit against the Toronto Real Estate board.
